105 years ago, on her maiden voyage, the RMS Titanic crossed the Atlantic ocean to meet her fate in Newfoundland’s iceberg alley. Immerse yourself in all things Titanic with this experience. You will be treated to five star service as you enjoy your Titanic themed gourmet dinner at the Inn. The table will be set with all the finery that one would expect as a first class passenger on the Titanic. Our chef has specially selected items out of the 10 course menu that the first class passengers would have dined from. After dinner you will have the option of viewing the blockbuster movie “Titanic” in our viewing lounge or you may opt for an evening by the fire out back of the Inn. On a special night we may just be able to wrangle up some of our local crew to have a good ole ceili just like they would have had most nights, below deck. Or you can simply retire to your “cabin” with a complimentary bottle of local Newfoundland wine. Before you do though we will provide you both with the chance to become an honorary Newfoundlander. All you have to do is kiss a cod, eat some bologna, and drink some Newfoundland rum while reciting a few words and you will officially become one of us. You will receive a certificate to bring home with you to prove it too!
Your adventure also includes a visit to historic Cape Race, the home of the Marconi wireless station which received the ship’s last transmission before sinking. The museum* holds artifacts and memorabilia from that era including a new Titanic themed exhibit. This is a National Historic site and is located a mere 40 minutes from our door, through the picturesque community of Portugal Cove South.

This experience is specially designed for the history buffs or those that want to be.
