In the year 1912, on her maiden voyage, the RMS Titanic crossed the Atlantic ocean to meet her fate in Newfoundland’s iceberg alley. Immerse yourself in all things Titanic with this experience. You will be treated to five star service with the Newfoundland touch, as you enjoy your Titanic themed gourmet dinner at the Inn. The table will be set with all the finery that one would expect as a first class passenger on the Titanic. Our chef has specially selected items out of the 10 course menu that the first class passengers would have dined from. After dinner you will have the option of enjoying a drink  On a special night we may just be able to wrangle up some of our local crew to have a good ole ceili just like they would have had most nights, below deck. Or you can simply retire to your “cabin” with a complimentary bottle of local Newfoundland wine. Before you do though we will provide you with the chance to become an honorary Newfoundlander. All you have to do is kiss a cod, eat some bologna, and drink some Newfoundland rum called “Screech” while reciting a few words with local flair and you will officially become one of us; “Long may your big jib draw!” You will receive a certificate to bring home with you as a memento for the occasion.
Your adventure also includes a visit to historic Cape Race, the home of the Marconi wireless station which received the ship’s last transmission before sinking. The museum* holds artifacts and memorabilia from that era including a new Titanic themed exhibit. This is a National Historic site and is located a mere 40 minutes from our door, through the picturesque community of Portugal Cove South.

This experience is especially designed for the foodies and history buffs amongst you. It’s also a  commemoration for the part that those stationed at the Marconi wireless station at Cape Race had in helping to save the lives of those caught in this nautical disaster.
